Product detail · RabbitRun

Match the managed edge to the location and recovery design.

Make the office connection a deliberate part of the communications design. Heritage validates the workload, required concurrent feature combination, connectivity paths, and recovery behavior before recommending hardware or service.

Hardware selection and path configuration are related decisions, but they are not the same decision.

Product fit

Best fit

  • Locations dependent on cloud calling
  • Organizations comparing one-ISP and multi-path designs
  • Workloads matched to the RRT-200-LTE, RRT-300-LTE, or a future RRT-600-5G option

Service shape

Included and optional

Included
  • Managed network edge
Optional
  • Secondary wired connectivity
  • Cellular recovery options

Billing model: Per location and configuration, plus applicable connectivity and cellular charges. This page publishes no hardware, circuit, cellular, activation, usage, or service amount.

Three Heritage hardware options

Select for the required workload—not a good-better-best label.

Model facts have different boundaries. Heritage fit guidance and RabbitRun vendor-listed specifications are identified separately.

Heritage fit guidance

RRT-200-LTE

An older, slower option intended for smaller offices.

It can support the same broad feature categories as the other RabbitRun hardware, but not all features at once. Heritage validates the workload and required feature combination before recommending it.

Confirm for the site

Exact throughput, site-size thresholds, feature incompatibilities, concurrent-feature limits, cellular specifications, availability, and price.

Coming Soon · not currently orderable

RRT-600-5G

Positioned by RabbitRun for small and medium enterprise branches.

  • Up to 2.5 Gbps
  • Wi-Fi 7
  • 5G/4G dual-mode multi-carrier cellular
  • Voice survivability
  • POS continuity
  • Attack Shield cybersecurity
  • Cloud management
Availability boundary

RabbitRun explicitly marks this model Coming Soon. Heritage does not present it as currently orderable.

Path configuration

“Cellular backup” does not describe one behavior.

Hardware selection does not by itself establish the number of paths, activation behavior, capacity, or continuity result.

One wired path

Managed Edge

A managed network edge can be paired with one wired connection. An optional provisioned cellular recovery path may be available for manual activation.

Not automatic failover

The manual option requires Heritage activation when requested and needed. Provisioning, activation, and usage charges may apply.

Two wired paths

Dual-Wired SD-WAN

Two appropriately designed wired connections can support live failover between those paths after delivery, independence, capacity, and configuration are confirmed.

Not a universal uptime promise

Power, local equipment, carrier delivery, upstream dependencies, and the complete path still matter.

Ongoing cellular path

Persistent Cellular Backup

A provisioned cellular connection can be maintained as an additional path according to the selected configuration.

Not unlimited capacity

Signal, local conditions, service, capacity, competing traffic, configuration, and usage affect suitability.

Manual recovery remains deliberately separate.

A manually activated cellular recovery option is a recovery process—not continuous or automatic failover. It must not be described as though it behaves like dual-wired live failover or a persistent cellular path.

Before recommendation

Validate the complete location.

  • A connectivity and capacity review
  • Hardware selection based on the workload and required concurrent feature combination
  1. 01

    Inventory traffic and users

Identify calling and other workloads, feature combinations, devices, and relevant concurrency.

  2. 02

    Review available paths

Confirm wired delivery, independence, cellular conditions, capacity, and carrier dependencies.

  3. 03

    Define recovery behavior

Decide whether manual intervention is acceptable or another path must remain available without activation.

  4. 04

    Check local dependencies

Account for power, switches, phones, network equipment, alternate inbound routing, and responsible operators.

Common questions

Keep the answer tied to the selected configuration.

Is manually activated cellular recovery automatic failover?

No. Heritage must activate the compatible provisioned option remotely when requested and needed. It is not a continuously available automatic path.

Is the RRT-600-5G available to order?

No current-order claim is made. RabbitRun marks it Coming Soon, and Heritage confirms future availability separately.

Does Heritage enable every vendor-listed feature?

No. RabbitRun’s list describes hardware-platform capabilities. Heritage confirms the selected model, compatible services, enabled features, and configuration.

Can the RRT-200-LTE support the same configuration as newer models?

That cannot be assumed. It can support the same broad feature categories, but not all features at once. Exact performance and concurrent-feature limits require validation.

What does RabbitRun cost?

The verified billing shape is per location and configuration, plus applicable connectivity and cellular charges. Exact equipment, service, circuit, provisioning, activation, usage, and other amounts require a confirmed design.
